Facilities

Rosehill Secondary College is situated on the border of Essendon West and Niddrie and sits on a large, attractive site elevated high above Steele Creek, with views over the Maribyrnong River Valley.

Many parts of the school have under gone refurbishment, this has included changes to external entries, new windows, carpets, furniture and vibrant colour schemes. Interactive Whiteboards or data projectors are available in every room, improving the learning environment for all our students. Facilities upgrade and improvement is a continuing priority for the College. A new 4.5 million STEM technology wing is currently under construction and will be ready by August 2020. This will include an industrial style kitchen, maker-space room and virtual reality room. Included in this upgrade is the refurbishment of our large oval and cricket nets.

Our stand-alone buildings include a Library/Resource Centre, a Music Centre, Year 12 and Year 11 Study Centres, International Student Room, Canteen and Gymnasium.

Specialist classrooms include updated Science Laboratories, Art/Visual Communication/Media studio areas and a Dance/Drama studio. A number of outdoor learning environments are available throughout the school. Classroom reading Libraries have been developed in many of the general classrooms. All classrooms are serviced with reverse cycle refrigerated cooling and heating.

The College external sporting facilities include a large oval, cricket nets and external multi-use courts and various down ball areas.
