Year 7-9

At Rosehill, students in Year 7, 8 and 9 are provided with a comprehensive curriculum with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. Students undertake subjects from each of the Key Learning Areas (KLAs) and may select additional elective subjects of interest. Classes are 75 minutes in duration, which encourages deeper learning and greater emphasis on knowledge and understanding. A strong student welfare and management team consisting of the Principal Class, Junior and Senior School Leaders, Year Level Coordinators and Assistant Coordinators, and Student Welfare staff work together with students, parents and staff to support students and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the college. Students are encouraged to participate in leadership activities and a full range of extra curricula activities is available to foster the social, emotional and creative skills of all students as they progress towards Year 10.
