The aim of our fully automated Library is to support Key Learning Areas by providing a variety of curriculum resources that are current, relevant and readily accessible to staff and students of all abilities, and to promote reading as a leisure activity. In keeping with the rest of the school, the Library has become an Information and Communications Technology hub. Our Rosehill Library is well equipped with desktop computers  and video conferencing set-up and is expanding its range of other communication technologies. Equipment available includes digital still and video cameras suitable for student presentations.

The Library strives to achieve a balance between print and non-print materials so that people can choose resources that best suit their learning style and needs.

Print materials include fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, maps, charts, newspapers and “Current Social/Environmental Issues” which are newspaper clippings on selected topics.

Non-print formats include eBooks, DVDs, audio books and computer software. We also subscribe to NewsBank, a database of Australian Newspapers and ClickView, a digital video library.

The library is also a key part of the College providing a lunch time activities program, which attracts a large number of students. Also, After School Tuition is offered in the Library on Wednesday from 3.30pm – 4.30pm.

Rosehill Secondary College is accredited under the Department of Education and Trainings CRICOS registration (CRICOS provider name and code: Department of Education and Training, 00861K).
