Remote Learning Term 3 – July 17

Dear parents and guardians, As you are aware next Monday, July 20, we commence remote learning for students in Year 7-10. A revised guide for your reference was sent via COMPASS.I also bring to your attention the following key points. If your child is not coping or engaging with the remote lessons please notify the relevant year level coordinator directly or contact the college via the usual platforms.  Students will follow their scheduled timetable, however each remote learning lesson (7-10) will run for 60 minutes. Lesson start times will be as normal. VCE and VCAL students on-site will be attending classes as normal, these will continue to be 75 minutes in duration. POP! The 2019 Music and Dance Show

A spectacular show featuring music from different pop artists over the past 40 years showcasing our Year 7-12 Performing Arts students Thursday 18th July at 7pm Meat Market, 3 Blackwood Street, North Melbourne 3051 Tickets: $25 adult, $15 child/student from the General Office from June 10th.

Open Evening Thursday 2nd May 2019 4:30pm -7:30pm

Principal’s Address 6:30pm in the College Library Open Evening provides prospective students and their parents the opportunity to see students participating in normal classroom activities, broader school activities and view the work of Key Learning Areas. There will also be time for parents to speak to teachers and current students. A Principal’s address will be held in the College Library and guided tours will operate throughout the afternoon and evening.

Awards Evening – Tuesday 18th December 2018

The annual Awards Evening for 2018 will be held on Tuesday 18th December at St Bernard’s College Auditorium, Rosehill Rd, Essendon, commencing at 7:00pm. As the culture of our college has evolved to reflect our academic focus and commitment to excellence, the Awards Evening provides the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate student achievement. Music and dance performances feature during the evening and upon conclusion of the presentations, the College Captains for the next school year are inducted. Awards for academic excellence are presented for each of the Key Learning Areas at Years 7-11 and for each Year 12 subject studied at the College.
