Awards Evening

The annual Awards Evening for 2014 will be held on Tuesday 16 December
at St Bernard’s College Auditorium, Rosehill Rd, Essendon, commencing at 7:00pm.

As the culture of our college has evolved to reflect our academic focus and commitment to excellence, the Awards Evening provides the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate student achievement. Music and dance performances feature during the evening. Upon conclusion of the presentations, the College Captains for the next school year are inducted.

In 2013, the Optima Semper ‘Best Always’ Award was introduced. This award is presented to a student in each year level from Year 7 to Year 11.

An Award for Academic Excellence is presented to a student in each year level from Year 7 to Year 11 for each of the Key Learning Areas: English, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Health, Science, Technology and Visual Arts.

An Award for Academic Excellence is also presented to a student in each Year 12 Unit 3/4 Subject.

A Sports Participation Awards is presented to a student in each year level from Year 7 to Year 12.
