Students whose families wish them to enter the Selective Talent Enrichment Program (STEP) will be required to participate in a selection process.
Student Selection Process
Students who wish to enter STEP will be required to participate in the following selection process:
• A test evaluating the student's ability in English and Mathematics and Reasoning
• References from the student’s Primary School;
• A learning portfolio; including the student’s NAPLAN, school reports and supporting documentation
If required, students may also be interviewed at Rosehill Secondary College.
A maximum of 25 students will be enrolled into the STEP class. All students enrolled in the STEP will be required to pay a $150 fee which covers STEP resources, entry into competitions, incursions, workshops and the STEP celebration evening.
